As much enthusiasm began Fifteenth Meeting of the American Association of Librarians and Agricultural Information Specialists - RIBDA in Lima.

At the opening ceremony attended by local representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations - FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture of Peru. The inaugural lecture was given by Jean Claude Guedon of OAPEN.

Attending the event a wide range of information professionals from different organizations from all five continents. The event continues through Thursday, October 29 at the facilities of the Colegio de Ingenieros del Peru.
